The University of Minnesota Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) partners with
ExercisAbilities on an upcoming project
funded by Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety & Health Center (UMASH)
The University of Minnesota Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) program’s faculty and students are partnering with the non-profit ExercisAbilities in Rochester, MN and a project funded by Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety & Health Center (UMASH) to offer a virtual telehealth experience for seniors above the age of 65+ in rural MN communities with an agricultural background.
The free 4-6 session program is looking for volunteers who want to stay active and healthy, manage stress, and learn strategies to keep up with their home & work routine in rural areas. For those who may not have access to technology, please reach out to us and we will work with you to obtain the technology needed.
