SPECIAL ATHLETES SMALL GROUP SPORTS CAMP
AGES 15+

Join us for a sports specific training with a small group of peers. In the Special Athletes Small group, we will be focusing on movements for injury prevention, strength and endurance needed for general sports performance. This specific class will be mostly working on proper sports movements that relate to most sports. Breaking down all the sports and proper movements to help you as an athlete be successful. Focus will be on specific skills training for a variety of different sports that may be seen in the Special Olympics. In addition, they will be working on strengthening and adjusting to the movements that may take place throughout the sports being played. Must be able to toilet independently. Taught by ExercisAbilities Staff. Proper precautions will be taken.*

Skills training for each sport may include:
• Basketball
• Whiffleball
• Four Square
• Track and field
• Street hockey
• Golf

GUIDED TRAIL HIKING GROUP AT QUARRY HILL
AGES 18+

Daily hiking trips meeting at Quarry Hill Nature Center. Our goal is to help you get out during the summer and enjoy nature. Hiking has a lot of benefits and we want this to be an activity you can continue to enjoy after the camp. A great outdoor activity that you can do with your family and friends at any time. We plan to guide you through areas of Quarry Hill and see some great views of nature. Must be able to toilet independently. Taught by ExercisAbilities Staff. Proper precautions will be taken.*

NORDIC WALKING SMALL GROUP
AGES 18+

Get out and move around Silver Lake. ExercisAbilities will be there to guide you through how to get a great experience with Nordic Walking. We will be taking you around Silver Lake and learning the fine art of Nordic Walking. The goal of the camp is to help you learn the skills needed to continue Nordic Walking on your own. We hope that you are able to see how it benefits you and your physical ability.Must be able to toilet independently. Taught by ExercisAbilities Staff. Proper precautions will be
taken.*

AUTISM FITNESS CAMP
YOUTH WITH AUTISM

Join us for a specific training with a small group of peers. In the Autism Fitness Small group, we will be focusing on movements for coordination, strength and endurance needed for general daily life. We will be progressing through ExercisAbilities’ Autism Fitness curriculum that teaches skills based on previous learning times. Adjustments will be made based on individual needs for adaptation. Must be able to toilet independently. Please note the two different age groups. Taught by ExercisAbilities Staff. Proper precautions will be taken.*

A few things to note:
• Our staff will be wearing a mask at all time.
• Frequent hand-washing when indoors and after activity, we will have hand sanitizer available for outdoor events.
• Bring your own water bottle and water.
• We will highly encourage participants to wear a face mask. MDH recommends participants/children only wear cloth face coverings if they can reliably wear, remove, and handle the cloth face covering throughout the day.
