I graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in May of 2019. Prior to this I attended Rochester Community and Technical College in 2012 studying Nursing. I soon discovered that my passion was in sports science and orthopedics. During my time in School I earned by personal training certification and worked at Anytime fitness – Kasson where I provided personal training and group fitness services teaching circuit and HIIT style training and Senior fitness classes focusing on general strengthening and fall reductions.
Exercise is meaningful to me because it is medicine. I’ve seen it work time and time again from college athletics to the senior populations.
During my free time, I enjoy keeping up on my fitness by going to the gym, playing sports, or taking my two dogs Daisy and Dexter on walks. I am a pretty avid golfer, although you wouldn’t be able to tell based off my handicap.
