If you are coming to Saturday’s Event, don’t miss this update!
We are so excited to see you at Family Adventure and Run, Walk Roll Day to benefit ExercisAbilities! We are sending you a quick update for what to expect at the event. To date, we have nearly 300 attendees coming – of those 125 clients and participants are attending the event for FREE! Please thank our sponsors for making this possible! We are so excited to bring a little outdoor exercise and adventures to each of them.
This event is our one and only large fundraiser of the year. Our goal for this event is $25,000. These funds are needed to support our mission of being able to offer unrestricted access to all of our programming with reduced sliding scale fees. Rehabilitation is so hard to access for many in our community. This goal represents only a small portion of what we need in donations and grants each year to make our mission possible. You can make a difference in assuring everyone who wants to attend EA can.
We welcome the opportunity to have you share your gifts with ExercisAbilities if you are able to do so. We have a 13 item “choose your favorite” raffle with tickets at $5 or 5 for $20. Remember to bring your cash or checks – We do not accept credit cards for the raffle. In addition, for those that “fill the basket” with donations over and above the raffle of $25.oo or more, you will be entered in a chance to win a Google Mini Speaker! Cash, check, or credit available. So don’t forget to bring your cash and help us reach our fundraising goal of $25,000! (We are already nearing $20,000! So every bit helps to reach our goal.)
Drawings start at 11:45 AM.
Parking will be available in two locations. Standard parking will be in the field. You will be directed when you arrive. If you need handicap parking, just talk to the parking guides and they will tell you where to park closer to the venue (likely at the Miracle Lodge).
The Run Walk Roll will start promptly at 10 AM at the Miracle Lodge Archway. Please allow enought time to park and check in at registration. Registration starts at 9:30AM. There is a 1 mile walk/roll and a 4 K walk/run option (rough terrain).
Lunch will be smoked pulled pork. We do also have peanut butter sandwiches as an option if a plant-based diet is required.
All events are accessible. Waiver signature and time slot sign up are required for the Adaptive Horse Back Riding and Zip Line. Please sign waiver, get wrist band, and select a time slot at the Registration Table. Slot are first come first serve so do this right away.
Prizes will be given for the Mini Golf Tournament Winners. Be sure to check it out!
Archery Addiction is coming and this as well as all activities are free thanks to our sponsors! So don’t miss it. It is in the Tennis courts so all can enjoy.
Don’t miss Bingo with Betsy (Singer)! We have a lot of fun prizes!
The T-shirts are in. You can stop by the office prior to 2:00 PM on Friday to pick them up or get them at the registration table. We do have a few extra’s for those that signed up after the deadline to chose from (first come first serve)
