Donating to EA Pediatrics could be as easy as cleaning out your closet or workout room at home!
I have outgrown garage sales-how about you? As I am sending my oldest off to college and my youngest moves to not wanting dolls and “baby things” in her room anymore, I am busy cleaning and making boxes and bags for Goodwill. To my excitement, I found a few items in nearly new shape that are on the EA Pediatrics Amazon Wishlist! Of course, I helped make the list, so I know what is on there. Have you checked it out yet???
Every donation helps our nonprofit 501c3 increase our impact by getting more funds back to direct services and programming for kids. If we must buy every item on our wish list to make our new space amazing, $30,000 will not be able to go to offering free or reduced fees for children who need or want but cannot afford to participate in our rehabilitation, adaptive recreation, or wellness programs.
- Adaptive sports camp costs $10,000 to run in the summer.
- Wheelchair basketball costs $5000 per 3 month season. An adaptive sports chair is $3000.
- Empowering Parents class for parents of children with autism spectrum disorder costs us $2,500.
$30,000 in donations or cash fundraising is a long way to go. Just this week, we are on our way with a $1000 donation from the Rochester Commercial Bankers Association, $200 for the Seth Pack Fund at the ARC of Minnesota, and a $500 anonymous donation in honor of Mary Conner. We also had an amazingly good condition equipment donation from a client’s family and shopped at the Mayo Clinic/Catholic Charities mission warehouse where we picked out a child stander, pictures for the walls, computer desks, a medical table and so much more!! Donations keep our mission moving forward.
Help us make healthy, happy and independent possible for every child in Olmsted county and beyond!!
Thank you to all of you who have contributed to Raise the Roof to Date!!
